Anthem of the Seas, Mediterranean
5
Our first time with RCCL, having cruised with several other companies. We had a balcony room which was both comfortable and spacious. From day one. We realised that we had chosen something special. We had cruised with another company the previous year but we’re largely disappointed - mainly because the cruise ship was too big (with over 4000 passengers. The ‘Anthem of the Seas’ seemed considerably smaller though still with plenty to do and see on board, making the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. The food was plentiful and varied and something was available throughout the day. We had purchased a drinks package which entitled us to all drinks, including tea/coffee, soft drinks and water as well as premium alcoholic drinks. We chose to do our own thing whilst ashore, rather than organised excursions which can work out expensive. We had chosen this particular cruise because it stopped in Corsica, a place we had never previously visited, and probably would never have done so, had it not been an inclusive port of call. We are already looking forward to another longer visit to the island.
